Leg Installation

IF YOUR TABLE HAS BEEN SHIPPED VIA TRANSPORT, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE INSTALLATION OF THE LEGS! TABLES WILL NOT BE SHIPPED WITH LEGS INSTALLED.

Please follow these steps. If you have any questions before installing, please text 705.351.4587.

Please note that on any transport of goods, we are working on your behalf and can only provide you with the same info from the transporter. Steadwood is not responsible for lost or damaged goods during transport.

Tools you will need:

1. Impact gun or impact drill (not a regular drill, as it will snap the screws).

2. 7/16 impact drive bit. Screws and washers will be supplied inside your shipment.

3. You will need help to flip the table. We suggest a minimum of two strong bodies.

Make sure the table is bottom-up, where you can see the pilot holes. Best to place on workhorses (make sure there are blankets to protect the top), or if the piece is small enough, you can use a carpeted floor. You will notice that the legs, before unwrapping, should be taped indicating a,b or 1,2. Align the pilot holes with the pre-drilled holes. Before attempting to drill into the pre-drilled holes, ensure all the holes align perfectly.

Manually insert the screws provided in all holes to make sure that alignment is proper. Once aligned properly, use an impact gun to install the lag screws SLOWLY. If you feel much resistance, back off and go forward again. Washers should not be loose when properly installed. It should be snug against the screw and the material of the leg.

It is a two-man job to flip the table over. It will need to be done in the air or on work horses so that there is no weight on the table legs. The screws will snap if any pressure is put on the legs.

Please do not to attempt to install the legs if you are unsure of any of the directions.
